Scientists at DSM in Delft have been putting their biotechnological expertise and extensive experience to use, conducting an investigation for TNO into the suitability and development of enzymes which play a crucial role in the LAMP test. Currently, these enzymes are produced abroad. Scale-up and domestic production will help the Netherlands to become less dependent on a small number of international test providers. DSM contribution to the development of the LAMP test is at cost price.
