After 2 years of absence due to COVID-19, we were finally able to open our doors again on July 5th, 2022, for the annual Residents Evening. As usual, local residents and interested parties were welcomed at the Biotech Campus Delft and informed about all kinds of interesting activities that take place on our campus.
The evening was opened by location director Fedde Sonnema with a welcome, an explanation of recent developments on the campus and the upcoming merger of DSM with Firmenich. Then it was the turn of Cindy Gerhardt, general manager of Planet B.io, who talked about Planet B.io's future plans and developments at the affiliated companies. Subsequently, DSM Food & Beverage global application manager Helma Stolze talked about bakery innovations including a bread tasting, helped by bakery colleague Paulien Steltenpool. Afterwards, the visitors were given a tour of the campus and had the opportunity to ask questions.
