Since November 2020, work has been going on regarding the demolition of the Alexander Fleming House on the Biotech Campus Delft, this office tower is located along the western side of the railway. This week they started removing concrete slabs from the roof. With the help of a robot, the concrete slabs are broken on the spot. Unfortunately, this breaking causes noise pollution for our environment. Unfortunately, this cannot be done in any other way.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday March 18, 2022. The granted demolition permit is valid from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. However, we try to limit the period in which noise complaints can occur where possible from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
