DSM Delft/Biotech Campus Delft have become sponsors of Makerspace Delft

While studying in Delft, several students noticed that it took much work to get innovative projects off the ground. It was hard to always assemble tools, find a workplace, safely and on a student budget! As a result, projects with a lot of potential got shelved. In the fall of 2020, these students decided to create a shared co-working space for students embarking on small or individual engineering projects. This space is now known as Makerspace Delft.

The goal of Makerspace Delft is to give students but also residents of Delft the space and resources to work on sustainable, social and creative ideas. One of its core values is the formation of community. Makerspace Delft wishes to involve the entire population of Delft in the initiative and to do this, they work closely with both TU Delft and Municipality of Delft.

DSM Delft/Biotech Campus Delft wants to be a good neighbor for the people who live and work in the Delft area. By sponsoring Makerspace Delft we not only show our social commitment, but also enable innovative and sustainable local projects that use the Makerspace Delft facilities.
